Thank You

I want to make sure that my heart remains thankful for everything that you have done for me. You have given me hope even in my despair and you have brought me comfort. You have met my needs and you have shown me how much more there is to me when I am weak. It gives me strength to rise to new heights. Please bless my marriage. Please heal the hurt and the separation. I so deeply want to be reconnected with the woman that I love most in this life. She is such a blessing to me and I thank you that you use her to help me grow. You strech me beyond who I am and only under circumstance like this could I do so. Thank you. My heart and soul rejoice in you.

Jesus Baptism

In Mark 1:9 Jesus was Baptized by John. Why did Jesus have to be Baptized? There were no miracles recorded that Jesus had performed before this point. The Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove. The Holy Spirit came after Jesus was baptized. Jesus needed to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that he could perform miracles. He was fully a man and fully God and had left his divine power in heaven upon coming to earth so that he could be fully human. When we are baptized we recieve the same spirit that Christ recieved and we can walk as he did and perform the same miracles that he did. I can't think of any time when Jesus was healing someone that they weren't healed when he spoke. Is that just because he was Jesus or do we have the same power within us. I prayed for a boy named willie the other day to be healed and nothing happened immediately. I was really frustrated by that. If I am called to live as Christ why wasn't that boy healed. I had a dream the weekend before in which I met Christ. He performed miracles and helped people. He called me to do the same. I shared the dream in Church and a woman there was.... I was supposed to pray over the child when the mother was present. The father was there and not the mother. I think I am supposed to pray over him again.

Lord. Please pour out the annointing of your spirit on me and let me walk in your way as your son Jesus did.
